The Opportunity

Corporate Risk Management work focuses on financial, insurance, operational, project, market and/or regulatory risk including: Identifying and characterizing potential risks, assessing vulnerability of critical assets to specific risks. Optimizing the organization's insurance coverage in areas such as property & casualty, general liability, product liability, and directors/officer's liability. Risk analysis and modelling to assess probability of specific risks occurring and evaluate/value the impact/consequences of occurrence. Developing process and procedures to report on, manage, and mitigate risks to acceptable levels. Internal and external stakeholder reporting, including regulatory reporting An Expert Professional (P5) is a recognized master in professional discipline typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Typically responsible for: Establishing operational plans for job area. Developing and implementing new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results. Requires communication with leadership.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Implement and oversee risk management processes within the HUB to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and ensure alignment with BU and Hitachi Energy standards and best practices
  • Attend risk review meetings to evaluate risks and contribute mitigation insights.
  • Approve bids ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and aligned with standards.
  • Monitor risks during project execution to ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Support ERM process and integrate ERM with Business RM
  • Provide training and guidance on risk and contract management to teams.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute risk review summaries to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement in risk management processes and practices.
  • You will be ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

The Background

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Legal or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk, project, finance or operational management within a manufacturing environment.
