Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role based in Mumbai for the position of Regional Recruitment Officer for South Asia. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving core conversion and enrollments for the University of Plymouth, guiding students from offer holder stage to CAS. This candidate will handle important tasks such as assisting with the student recruitment process, coordinating between the University admissions team and agents, providing prompt support and consultation to applicants, and ensuring a seamless admission process.

The role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with education agents, academic partners and prospective students.

This position will report directly to the Regional Manager for South Asia, and will work closely with the Senior Recruitment Managers in India.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Masters degree in a relevant field is preferred, Bachelors degree is acceptable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess candidate profiles and manage recruitment processes effectively.
  • Proficiency in customer service and technical support to provide assistance to prospective students and address their queries via crm tools.
  • Relevant experience in overseas education or recruitment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with student recruitment trends and market intelligence is extremely beneficial.
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media knowledge is highly desirable as the candidate will be tasked with managing the University's virtual events
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative when required.

Conversion Support Activity

  • Assist with Faculty Virtual sessions & Applicant days
  • Attend Agent events when required
  • Assist with In person Pre Departure and Offer holder events
  • Regular Student communication and campaigns
  • Regular Agent Support & Admissions follow up
  • Regular follow up with internal team regarding CRM workflows
  • Represent the University at student facing events.

Key Performing Indicators (KPIs)

  • Offer Acceptance rate
  • Conditional offer to Unconditional offer conversion time.
  • Acceptance to Deposit rate
  • Compliance & Credibility clearance
  • Applicant response time and satisfaction
  • Agent support (frequency and feedback)
  • Data management and analysis

We are looking for a result driven, highly engaging candidate who can efficiently work and manage CRM tools and has great communication skills.

There is an opportunity to travel occasionally to support with marketing and recruitment events in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
