About this Position Are you energized by solving complex puzzles Do you enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity while staying agile and impact-driven As the Regional PMO and Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening project excellence across the IMEA (India, Middle East, and Africa) region. This dynamic role combines capital project governance, strategic project support, cross-functional collaboration, and capability building.
You will partner closely with project teams, functional leads, and senior executives to ensure that projects are well-planned, governed, executed, and aligned with strategic priorities.
This role is ideal for someone with a structured and analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude eager to jump into new challenges.
What Youll Do
Regional Strategy Management
- Prepare, organize and lead strategic projects on regional or global level
- Translate complex data into clear, decision-oriented insights and drive decisions through high impact presentations
- Continuously improve the collaboration and communication between functions via processes, governance, and tools
Capital Project Portfolio Management
- Manage portfolio-wide resource allocation and constraints
- Identify organizational process and skill gaps and drive training and coaching programs
- Lead capital projects during Initiation and Feasibility phases incl. staffing of project team until official handover
- Improve and conduct project audits to objectively evaluate performance, quality, and compliance against defined project criteria and governance standards
- Capture and consolidate lessons learned from portfolio into standards; develop and roll out trainings
- Introduce best practices from across the portfolio to project community
- Provide short-term project support on ad-hoc and need-basis
Capability Building & Training
- Support the creation of regional Project Management training materials and tools.
- Deliver project management training sessions across the IMEA region.
- Promote a culture of project management excellence and continuous improvement.
What makes you a good fit
- 5 years of experience in the chemical/process industry with an engineering + MBA background.
- Experience across strategy, operations, and supply chain with exposure to LEAN and automation.
- Strong skills in Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft tools to convert data into actionable insights.
- Ability to simplify complex information and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in structured problemsolving, crossfunctional collaboration, and managing ambiguity.
- Proactive, impactdriven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and alignment.
