Role Description

The Regional Operations Manager – Child Day Care is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for overseeing the operational performance of multiple corporate childcare centers in the region. This role includes managing center managers and staff, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards, monitoring day-to-day operations such as enrollment, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation and setting up new centres in the region.

The manager will track key performance metrics, implement standard operating procedures, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and parent satisfaction. Responsibilities also include collaborating with HR and training teams, supporting curriculum and activity implementation, handling escalations, and ensuring a child-centric, inclusive environment. The role involves regular center visits, reporting to senior leadership, and contributing to strategic initiatives to expand and enhance Best Group's child daycare services.

Qualifications

  • Operational management skills with experience overseeing multiple sites or centers, preferably in childcare, education, or service-based industries.
  • People leadership skills, including team management, coaching, performance review, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills for scheduling, resource management, and process implementation.
  • Customer and stakeholder management skills for building relationships with parents, corporate partners, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of child safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance standards in early childhood or daycare settings.
  • Analytical and reporting skills to track data, and prepare clear operational reports and action plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort presenting to leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gurugram with regular travel to centers within the region.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in hospitality industry or child day care/ early education/ corporate childcare programs, or similar domains is highly desirable.
