Role Description

The Regional Manager (North) & Regional Manager (East) roles are 2 full-time, on-site positions based in New Delhi and Kolkata. Both positions are 100% Work from home.

These roles are responsible for managing and growing relationships with jewellery retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, service providers, associations and industry stakeholders across the designated regions, driving subscription, advertising, event participation, and partnership opportunities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing regional business plans, meeting sales and revenue targets, conducting regular outreach and in-person meetings, and representing the brand at industry events, trade shows, and forums.

The Regional Managers will collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, sales, events, and digital teams to align regional activities with overall business strategy and to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

These roles also involve monitoring market trends, gathering feedback from partners, and providing insights that support new initiatives and content ideas.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in regional sales, business development, or account management, preferably in media, events, or the jewellery industry. Experience in the Gems & Jewellery industry will be an added advantage, but is not mandatory

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers across multiple cities and markets.

  • Solid understanding of sales planning, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.

  • Ability to analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to shape regional strategies and identify new business opportunities.

  • High level of self-motivation, ownership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage travel and schedules across extensive territories.

  • Comfort working closely with marketing and events teams to drive participation in awards, forums, and other brand properties.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
