Regional Manager-Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the end-to-end farm operations of a region for Raddis (Radically Disruptive) Cotton, a purpose-driven initiative transforming cotton systems for greater social, environmental, and economic impact. This role demands a dynamic leader who can manage both farm-level operations and supply chain execution across region. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of agribusiness knowledge, supply chain expertise, and a deep commitment to sustainable development.
Reporting To: Head of Operations
Location: Manyam, Andhra Pradesh, India
Compensation: 5,50,000 per annum
Working Conditions:
- Frequent field travel to cotton clusters, ginning units, and buyer locations as required.
- Seasonal workload peaks during harvest and marketing cycles.
- Coordination across multiple geographies and entities (for-profit & not-for-profit arms).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in agriculture or agriculture business management.
- 5+ years of experience in Agri operations, Agri supply chain management
- Proven track record in managing farmer programs, certifications, and Agri-input distribution with professional and performance orientation.
- Exposure to multi-country or large-scale rural development projects with impact orientation is desirable.
- Proficient in Telugu and English
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
1. Project management:
- Develop and Implement, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other management tools.
- Oversee program accounts, audits, and compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
- Lead data collection, visualization, and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
2. Farmer Engagement & Enrollment:
- Design and oversee farmer identification, onboarding, retention and enrollment processes.
- Ensure equitable inclusion (women, youth, marginalized groups).
- Drive digital record keeping and data accuracy for farmer databases.
3. Value chain operations:
- Ensure timely and affordable supply of high-quality seeds, bio-fertilizers, bio pesticides, and other regenerative inputs.
- Oversee cotton procurement, storage and farmers payments
- Handling processing and logistics.
- Manage Chain of Custody and Traceability innovations.
- Manage relationships with supply chain partners and vendors.
4. Capacity building:
- Conduct regular capacity assessments of field staff and teams.
- Design and implement capacity building programs to bridge knowledge and skill gaps.
- Partner with research, knowledge, and extension agencies to update training.
- Promote a learning culture and facilitate peer learning and technical training.
5. Monitoring, Evaluation and Learnings:
- Pursue operational KPIs and social-ecological impact metrics (soil health, biodiversity, water conservation, carbon credits) for the region.
- Develop and implement effective monitoring frameworks to track performance and outcomes.
- Use real-time data and feedback loops to drive adaptive management.
- Collaborate with operation, finance, certification, and logistics teams to ensure sales, compliance, and documentation.
- Facilitate mechanisms that ensure fair value to farmers while maintaining commercial viability.
- Maintain alignment between buyer needs and on-ground regenerative production, ensuring traceability and transparency in sourcing.
- Support marketing with success stories and testimonials

- Socio - Ecological Impact: Percentage of farmers who have adopted regenerative practices; Land coverage of Regenerative Farming.
- Budget Management: % variance to planned budget
- Operations Efficiency: >90% Achievement of farm activities as per the plan
- Resource utilization: Output / productivity per person
- Performance Reporting: % compliance with Monthly dashboard submission
- Ecological Impact: Carbon footprint per product reduced
- Compliance: % Compliance to quality standards (e.g., RegenAgri, organic, fair trade); % Compliance to regulatory / ICS requirements
- Performance Management: % of regional targets achieved
- Cost Management: Cost per unit reduction
- Production volume: % of Production target achievement / Amount of Total produce.
