Location - Mumbai
Definition and Scope
Responsible for achieving circulation targets areas of Central Mumbai (Matunga/Sion-Ambernath/Badlapur) and Navi Mumbai including Panvel through planning and executing promotional & sales activities. Responsible for acquiring new readers through subscription process.
Duties and responsibilities
- He will be responsible for managing the areas Central Mumbai (Matunga/Sion-Ambernath/Badlapur) and Navi Mumbai including Panvel.
- Primary role is to ensure circulation target achievement through demand generation and customer acquisition from various channels Household, and out of home channels.
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet circulation targets.
- Managing and overseeing the DSP (Direct Sale Promotion) operations, single copy sale and Institutional/bulk sales channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity and sales data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure timely collections in region to maintain discipline in outstandings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors in the region.
- Oversee the region distribution network to ensure timely and efficient delivery to all drop points,subscribers and CSPs.
- Lead,mentor and motivate a high performing team of area managers and executives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Should have good leadership and team building skills.
- Should be well versed with technology and automation.
Qualifications
- Graduate with MBA in Sales & Marketing
- Work Experience 10 15 years, primarily into sales and distribution. At least 6-7 years in managerial role handling large sales team.
- Fluent in English and Marathi Language.
- Sales acquisition skills would be the key to success
- Good analytical & presentation skills would help him get better success
- Ability to drive and motivate team members to achieve individual goals
- Ability to relate / approach senior people without fear would be key to his success
- Suitable commercial and logistic skills
- Excellent negotiation skills to ensure win- win for the co. & customer.
- A team player who can work with cross functional teams to ensure achieve his target

Candidate should have experience in hardcore sales and distribution in FMCG companies/ early morning distribution companies, Milk distribution, E-commerce.
