Roles & Responsibilities
- Promoting the brand image of SUD Life and implementing all initiatives of the Company related to brand-building exercises, as well as maintaining optimal & thriving relationships with all the stakeholders
- Overall responsibility for leading & sourcing business from 7 to 10 Agency Branch Units in the region
- Development of Agency channel and driving business through a team of 10 Assistant Branch Managers and 10 Business Development Managers (BDM), Agency Leader (AL) and their sales team
- Responsible for business targets and Monitoring of Business Quality on various company parameters
- Devising and implementing initiatives according to the needs of the region to improve the productivity of the team
- Responsible for recruitment & training of the sales team in 7 to 10 Agency branch units in the region
- Drive sales basis product mix to ensure profitability
- Strategize and plan to ensure business delivery through activity management.
- Build a culture of ethical business and act as a change agent to uncover issues and implement innovative solutions to manage risk actively
- Leadership, teamwork & people development
- Ensure consistent business performance with operational effectiveness & control
- Adherence to all IRDA regulations and keeping pace with changes in the regulatory guidelines/framework for Life Insurance in general and particularly for agency channel
Stakeholder Management
- All Leaders across the function including ZM and Agency Heads
- Subordinate Team
- Scope of work: 30+; ABM: 5-7, BDM- 10-12; and AL: 8-9
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduation/Bachelor's degree from a reputed institute in any stream
- Experience: Preferably candidates with 12-18 years of relevant experience in agency channel in the LI Industry and core business management experience including sales and service
- Desired age: up to 45 years
