We're looking for a hands-on Regional Maintenance Officer with F&B or retail experience to be the technical backbone of our cafe chain. Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Electrical/ Mechanical/ Air-con technical engineering diploma with at least 2 years hands-on experience as maintenance or technician in F&B, Retail, or Supermarkets sector
- Must have hands-on mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) troubleshooting experience background
- Preferably have the ability to diagnose & fix different equipment failure such as Coffee Machine, Ice machine, FDU, Chillers, Lights & Signage, etc.
- Experience working with a ticketing or maintenance system to track completion times and meet service level agreement would be an advantage.
- Ability to do first level troubleshooting over the phone such as guiding store operations team to do simple investigation and troubleshooting before escalation for further action
- A whatever it takes attitude—willing to stay on-site during urgent equipment replacements until the job is done.
- Willing to travel and visit multiple store locations to conduct inspections or supervise repairs.
- Ability to liaise effectively between the Retail Store team and external contractors.
Job Role:
- Liaise with vendors to ensure coffee machines and others are repaired as per service level agreement (SLA).
- Hands-on general maintenance and repair of our cafe chain (aircon, chillers, plumbing, furnitures, etc.) to ensure proper upkeep of our cafe; all maintenance and repair tasks must be completed within the SLA.
- Being the point of contact for retail operations team and equipment vendors to ensure our retail stores are back on track if same-day SLA is missed.
- Conduct 1st line troubleshooting at store locations to identify if an issue is minor or major.
- Perform repairs on-site to reduce downtime and operational costs.
- Execute the monthly preventive maintenance as scheduled across all stores.
- Supervise vendors during their urgent maintenance/ repair visits to ensure work meets our quality standards until the job is done.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting workshops for Area Managers (AM) and Store Managers (SM).
