Job Title: Regional Legal Counsel

About The Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Regional Counsel to manage commercial contracts and support legal and compliance initiatives across India and the broader APAC region. This role reports to the Legal & Compliance Director, APAC.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, distribution and agency agreements, procurement-related contracts, and other commercial documentation.
- Provide practical legal advice to the business on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and compliance with internal contracting standards and approval processes.
- Support the rollout and use of contract templates and contract management guidelines across the region.
Compliance Support & Coordination
- Support the management of compliance matters in the region, including acting as a point of contact for compliance queries from the business.
- Assist with the identification and assessment of potential compliance issues and support internal compliance initiatives and investigations, under the guidance of the APAC Legal & Compliance Director.
- Support the regional implementation of global compliance policies and procedures, including anti-bribery & corruption, trade compliance, data privacy, and other applicable compliance frameworks.
- Assist with compliance trainings, policy rollouts, and awareness initiatives at the country and regional level.
Regional Projects
- Provide legal and compliance support for APAC specific projects and initiatives (e.g. integration projects, assets or legal entity structuring projects).
- Provide support for Legal Department efficiency initiatives, including digitisation, process improvement and standardization of legal and compliance workflows.

Job Requirements
- Qualified lawyer.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputable multinational corporation (in manufacturing and/or distribution industry highly desirable).
- Prior experience in a reputable law firm would be a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise between multiple tasks and demands, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Escalate issues, seek guidance, and align decisions with the APAC Legal & Compliance Director where matters involve higher risk, complexity, or regional impact.
- Excellent command of the English language.
