Role Overview
The role holder is responsible for defining and delivering IT strategy, operations, and transformation across Europe. This role acts as the bridge between corporate IT objectives and local execution, ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with business goals. The incumbent is expected to oversee the local IT environment, manage key vendor partnerships, support digital innovation initiatives, and drive user-centric solutions that enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Tailor regional IT roadmap synchronized with global direction
- Implement prioritized initiatives based on business impact
- Proactive monitoring of service levels, tickets, and escalations
- Pilot and scale regional innovation in alignment with global tech stack
- Execute audits, patch management, access controls, and data policies
- Forecast accurately and reallocate as needed based on market demands
- Cross-skill teams and expose them to enterprise-grade tools and trends
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1012 years in IT, including 35 years in a leadership capacity
- Experience working with European markets and IT governance
- Strong exposure to cloud, ERP, and digital transformation
- Multi-stakeholder and multicultural team management experience
- Hands-on involvement in data protection and GDPR frameworks
- Track record of aligning IT with business strategy
Desired Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field (Master's preferred)
- TOGAF or Zachman certified
- ITIL Foundation / Expert
- AWS/Azure/GCP Architect Certification
- CISSP (preferred)
- PMP or Agile Certification (preferred)
