Job Description

Role: Regional HR

Location: Kochi

Business: Open Architecture Bancassurance

Experience: 4–5+ years

Preferred Background: HRBP / Business HR

1) Drive Zonal HR Strategy Execution

  • Execute the zone's HR strategy aligned to business priorities and growth plans.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership, bringing a holistic view of business and people challenges.

2) Champion Hiring at No Cost & Ensure 100% Headcount Fulfillment

  • Drive innovative, no-cost hiring channels to ensure optimal sourcing efficiency.
  • Own and deliver 100% headcount fulfillment with proactive workforce planning.

3) Lead Proactive Retention Across Cohorts

  • Identify attrition risks early and drive targeted retention actions across employee segments.
  • Partner with business to strengthen employee experience and improve retention outcomes.

4) Enhance Employee Productivity

  • Drive interventions to improve frontline and leadership productivity using people insights.
  • Identify productivity gaps and enable high-performance practices across teams.

5) Address Employee Queries and Manage Grievances

  • Ensure timely resolution of employee queries, concerns, and grievances across the zone.
  • Build trust through fair, responsive, and practical issue resolution mechanisms.

6) Develop Capability of Sales Leadership and Frontline

  • Diagnose capability gaps and drive targeted development interventions.
  • Strengthen managerial effectiveness and frontline capability to support business outcomes.

7) Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong, credible partnerships with zonal and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Influence decisions through data-backed insights and strong business understanding.

8) HR Governance & Employee Experience

  • Ensure adherence to HR processes, policies, and governance standards.
  • Drive consistency in execution while enhancing overall employee experience.

Experience

  • 4–5+ years of HR experience, preferably in an HRBP / Business HR role.
  • Experience in sales HR, frontline-heavy businesses, BFSI, insurance, bancassurance, or distribution-led environments will be preferred.

Preferred Skills & Capabilities

  • High ownership, responsiveness, and action orientation.
  • Strong understanding of the business–people interface and ability to manage HR in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proven ability to drive hiring, retention, employee relations, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong execution capability with the ability to independently manage a zonal HR charter.
  • Ability to think holistically and connect business performance with people outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
