Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Accountabilities
1. Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding
- Execute manpower hiring based on business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to TAT for On-roll and Off-roll manpower (JB11 and staff).
- Implement recruitment and selection processes.
- Build candidate pipeline and conduct market mapping.
- Establish relationships with ITIs, Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics, and B-Schools for employer branding.
- Participate in candidate assessments (JB11 and staff).
- Facilitate induction and assimilation of new employees.
- Implement NAPS and campus recruitment initiatives.
- Drive employee referral programs (e.g., TConnect).
2. HR Operations
- Manage Off-roll attendance and certify contractor/vendor bills for timely payment processing.
- Complete confirmation process within defined TAT.
- Enable manpower transfers and deputations as per business needs.
- Submit payroll and TE portal inputs on time.
- Guide retiring/resigning employees on PF/Superannuation processes.
- Resolve HR policy and process-related queries.
- Support documentation for IT proof, PF nomination, UAN KYC, Mediclaim, GPA, etc.
3. Performance & Productivity Management
- Ensure adherence to PMS timelines (Goal Setting, MYR, Annual Appraisal).
- Facilitate quality discussions between employees and managers.
- Participate in critical performance conversations (JB10 and below).
- Monitor PIP process and monthly feedback.
- Support performance counselling and regional HR reviews.
- Align manpower deployment to productivity expectations (on-roll, off-roll, temp).
- Handle PMS-related communication and queries.
4. Wellness & Engagement
- Conduct regular employee connect visits to regional offices, depots, and plants.
- Organize engagement and wellness programs as per calendar and local initiatives.
- Promote uniform policy understanding through various communication platforms.
- Drive adoption of HR technology platforms.
- Share ground-level pulse with ZHR and RH.
- Manage depot/plant-level dynamics to maintain employee connect.
- Implement Sparsh program for Off-roll engagement.
- Roll out communication and change management initiatives.
- Execute monthly/quarterly R&R programs.
- Coordinate Vibes survey and regional action plans.
- Ensure 100% participation in surveys and programs.
5. Talent Management & Learning & Development
- Facilitate My Development Plan (MDP) for JB11.
- Participate in quarterly check-in meetings.
- Drive completion of potential assessments.
- Roll out and monitor training programs (Front Step, Next Step, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, eLearning).
- Implement compliance training (COC, POSH, Safety).
- Counsel employees on productivity and career (especially 5+ years in region/depot).
- Create a pool of Off-roll talent (Pragati).
6. Industrial Relations at RMC Plants
- Ensure smooth functioning of RMC plants with no labor unrest.
- Liaise with employees, workers, and locals to maintain healthy work conditions.
- Ensure timely labor availability and manage disciplinary actions.
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations climate.
- Support contractors with wage issues and temp staff increments.
- Ensure 100% compliance and timely submission of returns/documents.
- Liaise with local government officials for smooth operations and audits.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation at all plants.
- Support Manager ER in vendor compliance audits.
- Implement effective grievance redressal systems at plants/offices.
