About the Role
The role entails scaling up the business for Business Loan lending in the designated region by developing strategies to expand existing products, channels, segments, and customer base. The objective is to deliver banking solutions to customers in a cost-efficient and technology-effective manner. This includes building teams, systems, processes, and a culture conducive to scalable and consistent delivery. The role requires close collaboration with the Retail team including Product Head, Operations, Sales, IT, Credit, and BIU. It also encompasses the responsibility of providing a seamless and fulfilling customer experience, ensuring IDFC First becomes the primary bank for all banking needs.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Grow the AUM base for Business Loan lending solutions and ensure overall revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets are met.
- Lead and direct State Heads by providing strategic inputs and plans for distribution penetration in current markets and future geographic expansion.
- Collaborate with the Product Head - Business Loan to ensure customers receive best-in-class solutions for funding/multi-funding requirements and key DSTs are appropriately incentivized.
- Design channel mix strategy and develop constructive relationships with digital marketplace partners and key alliances.
- Design a fulfilling customer journey to achieve customer delight and make IDFC First their banking partner of choice.
- Oversee distribution channel success through RM training, enablement, integration of alliance channels, improved TAT, and focused intervention on low productivity locations.
- Ensure successful adoption of internal compliance and regulatory frameworks across the business.
- Collaborate with the Head of Collections to reduce net credit loss and delinquency metrics.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach senior team members to instill a culture of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.
- Create an environment that encourages automation and digital enablement to holistically fulfill customer needs.
- Attract and retain best-in-class talent to meet the bank's rapid growth targets.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Postgraduate: MBA in Finance.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Business Loan domain.
