Cement Business has enhanced its capacity to 150+mtpa in recent years.As a business enabler, Information Technology plays an important role in facilitating business plans.

IT needs to provide and support infrastructure and implementation of new technologies or applications for effective business information and communication systems and to support ever changing requirements of Information Technology and fulfill end user expectations. Prioritize the incident & requirement. Problem diagnosis or change and implement solutions. The incumbent is also responsible todeliver and manage services at agreed levels to meet user and customer needs.Controlling Software licensing compliance.

Major Challenges

  • Managing high uptime of WAN link through ISP for which dependency is with third party and log the calls with NOC/SOC/DOC/SOTIC.
  • Providing prompt solution & awaring engineer with minimum inputs from user w.r.t problem.
  • Aware user to adopt best IT practices & IT security ABG Policies.

Execution and Implementation of IT operations

  • Monitor the avaliablity of LAN/WAN/IT Asset at their designated areas
  • Monitor connection of RO/zonal& High Uptime of LAN/WAN/Broadband Connectivity at RO/RMCPlant/Depot/ Godowns/DUMP/BPD /BT Plants.
  • Execute ABG Domain implementation at unit by ensuring the high availability & updation.
  • Maintenance in consistence with CHIT/GIT/ CIT.

  • Management of Mail User Including

a. Mail ID Creation/Deletion/ Transfer/Movement

  • Management and regular monitoring of calls and availability of Hardware

a. Review the Call registered are solved within SLA.

b. Monitor the high availability of Media Management Server and Live Web Cast, Town Halls at locations.

c. Monitor Preventive Maintenance of all the Devices.

Maintaining, Upgrading Hardware & Customer Support

  • Monitor resolution of SCCM, CSDB, OS versions & Security patched status daily.
  • Monitor summit calls and follow-ups.
  • Add/Delete/Update asset in Summit and verification with CS.
  • Perform Joining Machines in Hybrid AD as per script.
  • Assist in educating end users regarding latest applications and utilities.
  • Co-ordinate with AMC vendor to ensure uptime of Hardware.
  • Monitor legal compliance of licenses.
  • Check the health and capacity management of equipment.
  • Plan Adherence to backup & disaster recovery.
  • Review various server event logs regularly.
  • Monitor network &test Vulnerability for server.
  • Support IT related requirements to School & Hospitals colony.

Information Security Management System

  • Upgrade IT Asset Register (Computer) and same to be updated in Summit monthly.
  • Assist in achieving green level in Group Information Security Survey.
  • Assist in ISO-27001 Audits.
  • Monitor effective implementation of Information security controls.
  • Review all recording of all IT Incidents and closers.
  • Assist users to adopt the Information security.

Skill & Competence development

  • Attend the Training/Development Program on regular basis (GVC/Webinar etc).
  • Provide IT infrastructure for conducting training about ISMS by visiting Depots and RMCs.
  • Assist users in posting articles on

WSS/Intranet/Onstream/Aditya Disha.

System implementation

  • Implement new systems through employee's involvement for continuous improvement in various activities.
  • Prepare and Submit Kaizen application.
