About the Role

The Regional Head CMS Sales is responsible for scaling the Cash Management Services (CMS) business across a defined region. This leadership role involves designing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue and profitability, and ensuring best-in-class CMS solutions through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role carries full P&L responsibility and plays a key part in achieving the bank's broader transaction banking objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth for CMS solutions, ensuring achievement of revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing strategic direction for market penetration and geographic expansion.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Policy teams to deliver customized and compliant CMS solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with digital marketplaces, vendors, and alliances to enhance digital transaction volumes.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and gather competitive intelligence to shape product and sales strategies.
  • Design and deliver a seamless customer journey to position IDFC FIRST Bank as the preferred banking partner.
  • Maximize average current account balances and fee income through effective client engagement.
  • Manage relationships with Indian banks, mutual funds, AMCs, and PE fund houses.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Promote the use of data analytics and market intelligence to enhance product and sales effectiveness.
  • Recommend process and policy improvements to drive operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Stay updated on global market trends and competitor strategies.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Postgraduate: MBA preferred

Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in cash management, transaction banking, or sales leadership roles

Skills and Attributes

  • Proven leadership in managing large sales teams and driving regional business growth
  • Strong understanding of CMS products, digital banking, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on execution, profitability, and customer experience
  • Ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
