Role/ Job Title: Regional Head - CMS Sales (Commercial Banking)
Function/ Department: Transaction Banking-Cash
Job Purpose
The role entails owning the end to end & scaling Cash Management Business for the bank at regional level in a cost-effective manner. The role bearer is responsible for designing the sales strategy to build volumes across region in mid-corporate and pure liability clients. It includes building up teams, systems, process and culture amenable to the scale and consistency of delivery. The role will closely collaborate with the Product
Head, Operations, Compliance, Risk, IT and Policy team to ensure development of a market leading solutions in CMS (Physical & Digital). The role is responsible for revenue growth and will develop strategies to drive product
penetration while maintaining overall portfolio quality requirement. It has a direct revenue responsibility for the Cash Management business contributing to the larger organizational objectives of the bank.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Grow the volume of business for Cash Management
solutions for mid-corporate and liability clients and ensure that the overall
revenue, profitability and portfolio quality targets are met
- Lead and direct the team by providing strategic inputs
and plans for distribution penetration in current markets as well as future
geographic expansion
- Develop constructive relationships with key partners to
drive growth of business
- Collaborate with the Product Head and policies team to
ensure that the target segment is offered the best in class & customized
CMS solutions
- Design long term and short term strategy and develop
constructive relationships with Digital marketplace partners and key alliances
to drive digital
transactions -
Conduct competition benchmarking and gather market intelligence to shape up the
overall sales & product strategy for maximizing business growth
- Design a fulfilling customer journey leading to customer
delight and making IDFC_First their banking partner of choice
- Leverage synergies through collaboration with internal
stakeholders and deepen relationship with customers
- Ensure the successful adoption of internal compliances
and regulatory framework across the business
- Maximize average current account balance and fee income
Secondary Responsibilities
- Champion the adoption of high quality market
intelligence and data analytics to promote product, solution and sales
effectiveness in line with the banks growth/profitability objectives
- Recommend improvements to processes and policies across
the Cash Management business to drive operational efficiencies and high quality
customer service
- Keep abreast with global market trends and competitor
strategies in key markets
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities
- Monitor key parameters on sales productivity, hiring
quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements
- Champion IDFC FIRST's customer first culture by driving
the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer
delight
- Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in
their reporting structure
- Drive co-operation with product, technology, analytics
and risk teams to ensure smooth functioning of business
- Ensure that sales team adhere to benchmarks/processes
set up for finalising commercials and other key parameters

Graduate - Any
Post Graduate - MBA Finance / CA
Experience
10+ years of experience with 3+ years at leadership position in Transaction Banking
