About the Role
As a
Regional Head - Business Loan (DSA), you will be responsible for scaling the Business Loan lending business across a designated region through DSA channel. This role involves developing and executing strategies to expand product reach, customer base, and distribution channels while ensuring cost-efficiency and technology-driven operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Operations, IT, Credit, and BIU to deliver a seamless customer experience and position IDFC FIRST Bank as the preferred financial partner for small enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Grow the Assets Under Management (AUM) for Business Loan lending solutions while meeting revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets.
- Lead and guide State Heads by providing strategic direction for distribution expansion in current and new markets.
- Collaborate with the Product Head – Business Loans to deliver best-in-class funding solutions and ensure key DSTs are appropriately incentivized.
- Design and execute channel mix strategies, including partnerships with digital marketplaces and key alliances.
- Oversee distribution success through RM training, channel enablement, improved turnaround times (TAT), and targeted interventions in low-productivity locations.
- Ensure seamless customer journeys that lead to customer delight and long-term engagement with IDFC FIRST Bank.
- Drive adoption of internal compliance and regulatory frameworks across the business.
- Work with the Head of Collections to reduce net credit loss and delinquency rates.
- Demonstrate ability to build, lead and motivate high-performing teams.

What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: Any discipline (Full-time)
- Post-Graduation: MBA in Finance (Full-time)
Experience
- Minimum 11+ years of experience in the Business Loan / SEPL or related retail lending domain.
