Role Description

This is a remote role for a Regional Geopolitical Consultant. The consultant will research and analyze regional security trends, international relations, and policy developments. Responsibilities include generating well-structured reports and strategic recommendations, delivering briefings to stakeholders, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Additional tasks involve monitoring current events, managing data from reliable sources, and presenting insights that align with the organization's analytical frameworks and client needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Expertise in Geopolitical Research, International Relations, and Policy Analysis across South Asia, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience in geopolitical risk analysis, security consulting, policy research, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of South Asia's geopolitical and security landscape.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
  • Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, research institutes, security consulting firms, or government agencies is highly desirable.
  • Master's degree or higher in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geopolitical and security risk assessments across South Asia, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
  • Monitor and analyze regional political developments, conflict dynamics, and terrorism-related risks.
  • Provide advisory insights on risk mitigation, crisis preparedness, and regional stability.
  • Develop strategic reports, policy briefs, and contingency recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with research teams to deliver data-driven geopolitical and security analysis.
