We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional FP&A Manager for our Waters Advanced Diagnostics Division South East Asia+Pakistan Region. This regional role will be responsible for providing critical financial planning, analysis, and strategic support to the regional leadership team, working closely with the SEA+Pakistan Business Director, each Country GMs, and Marketing Sales teams, driving financial performance, and ensuring robust financial controls.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Advanced Diagnostics Division across Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and others) and Pakistan.
Develop and implement financial models and analyses to support strategic decision-making, including business cases for new product launches, market expansion, and investment opportunities.
Monitor and analyze regional financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, providing insightful commentary and actionable recommendations.
Prepare and present regular financial reports to regional and global leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure alignment on financial objectives and drive operational efficiencies.
Oversee and enhance financial control processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Manage 2 Regional Business Analysts (Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur based) fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
This role will report to the APAC Senior Finance Manager, Advanced Diagnostics Division and be part of the APAC Finance leadership team
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the FP&A function.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience working within a multinational company, preferably in the life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP), and financial modeling techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial processes and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience with SAP and financial planning software (SAP, BPC, PowerBI) is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Also open to senior FP&A analyst who is keen to move into a managerial role.
Fluency in English is required
Up to 10% travel within SEA region
