This Position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of designers/engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective, and timely engineering solutions to customers. Each day, you will formulate plans and allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. You will also showcase your expertise by initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability.

This role is contributing to the B&R Automation in Pune, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Lead the engineering team to deliver highquality, reliable, and scalable solutions while ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Develop and execute engineering strategies, including resource planning, project governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee endtoend project execution, including timeline, scope, budget management, and technical risk mitigation.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, safety compliance, and strong technical problemsolving across the engineering team.
Drive team performance through clear goalsetting, coaching, feedback, and professional development for engineers.
Engage with customers to understand needs, provide technical updates, and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of experience in automation engineering, engineering management, or a relevant technical field.
Proven ability to set clear goals and expectations for engineering or automation teams.
Demonstrated experience in managing project timelines, scope, resources, and budgets effectively.
Strong capability to identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks throughout project lifecycles.
Experience conducting team performance reviews, coaching, and structured feedback sessions.
Expertise in technical problemsolving, decisionmaking, and facilitating engineering discussions.
Ability to monitor team utilization, productivity, and project margins to drive operational efficiency.
Strong customerfacing skills with experience in engaging clients, understanding needs, and reporting new opportunities.
