Job Description

VinFast is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales & Dealer Network Expansion to lead the commercial growth of its E-Scooter in the India. This leader will be responsible for driving national sales performance, developing a strong and sustainable dealer network, and ensuring VinFast's brand and products achieve maximum market reach and impact.

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, hands-on leadership, and deep understanding of the two-wheeler industry in the India. This role plays a pivotal part in establishing VinFast as the leading electric mobility brand in the country

1 Objectives of the Role

  • Build and expand VinFast's dealer network nationwide, ensuring full market coverage and operational excellence.
  • Deliver sales volume, market share, and profitability targets through effective retail and wholesale strategies.
  • Strengthen dealer engagement and performance management across key provinces and cities.
  • Lead the sales organization, drive process efficiency, and enhance customer experience through professional retail standards.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on business strategy, pricing, and market execution.

1. Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Performance

  • Develop and execute national/ regional sales strategies to meet short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Analyze sales trends, market opportunities, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage sell-in and sell-out performance, ensuring alignment between factory output and dealer demand.
  • Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for both unit volume and revenue.

Dealer Network Development

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified dealer partners across strategic locations.
  • Define dealer operating standards (1S/3S models) and ensure compliance with VinFast guidelines.
  • Negotiate dealer contracts, margin structures, and investment plans to ensure winwin business sustainability.
  • Evaluate dealer performance using KPIs on sales, service quality, and customer experience; implement corrective actions when needed.

Channel & Retail Excellence

  • Strengthen the dealer management framework, including sales training, incentive programs, and retail audit processes.
  • Work closely with marketing and after sales teams to design campaigns that drive showroom traffic and conversion.
  • Ensure brand consistency and high retail experience at all customer touchpoints.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Marketing and Sales Operations teams to ensure seamless coordination of pricing, promotion, and product launches.
  • Support the CEO India in strategic planning and national business reviews.

2. Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing. (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, distribution, or dealer network management within two-wheeler, automotive industry.
  • Proven success in building and managing dealer networks and achieving large-scale sales growth.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing sales targets, budgets, and profitability.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with dealers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Fluent in English

  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience in start-up or market-entry environments within mobility or energy sectors.
  • Data-driven and digitally literate, with understanding of DMS, and retail analytics systems.
  • Passionate about sustainability, customer experience, and innovative mobility solutions.
