Regional Director – University Partnerships (South India)

#Location: Hyderabad (Preferred) | Extensive Travel Across South India

### About the Role

We are looking for an experienced higher education business leader to drive FretBox's growth across South India.

This role is ideal for professionals who have successfully worked with universities and understand how technology buying decisions are made within higher education institutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic relationships, creating new business opportunities, managing enterprise sales cycles, and establishing FretBox as the preferred residential and campus operations platform for universities across the region.

This is a high-ownership role with direct visibility to the Founder and leadership team.

### Key Responsibilities

* Lead business development and market expansion across South India.
* Build relationships with Vice Chancellors, Registrars, CFOs, Directors, Hostel Administrators, and University Management teams.
* Identify and pursue opportunities across private, deemed, autonomous, and government universities.
* Drive the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract closure.
* Conduct stakeholder meetings, product presentations, solution discussions, and commercial negotiations.
* Create and manage a strong sales pipeline with clear forecasting and revenue targets.
* Represent FretBox at university conferences, education forums, and industry events.
* Collaborate with product and implementation teams to align customer requirements and ensure successful customer onboarding.
* Act as the regional growth leader for FretBox in South India.

### Desired Experience

* 5–15 years of enterprise sales, business development, or university partnership experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience working with universities, colleges, or higher education institutions.
* Proven track record of generating business from higher education organizations.
* Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of university procurement, budgeting, and decision-making processes.

### Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in one or more of the following categories is highly desirable:

* University ERP Solutions
* Student Information Systems (SIS)
* Admissions Management Platforms
* Examination Management Systems
* Learning Management Systems (LMS)
* Campus Management Solutions
* Hostel Management Solutions
* Education CRM Platforms
* Digital Transformation Solutions for Higher Education
