Our client is an established Asia-based company currently strengthening its ASEAN regional operations from Singapore. They are looking for a Regional Director to drive regional business expansion, distributor management, and organizational development across Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies across ASEAN markets
- Drive regional business expansion and commercial growth initiatives
- Manage and strengthen distributor and partner relationships across Southeast Asia
- Lead regional P/L management and business performance
- Build and develop regional organizational capabilities and leadership teams
- Collaborate closely with top management on long-term ASEAN growth strategies
- Identify new market opportunities and support regional business transformation initiatives
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders and headquarters to support strategic alignment
- Lead and support cross-border business operations and regional projects
Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in regional business development, sales, or commercial leadership within ASEAN markets
- Professional proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N1), with the ability to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and headquarters.
- Proven experience in distributor management and regional business expansion
- Experience managing teams with P/L responsibility
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Currently based in Singapore or open to relocation
(Advantageous)
- Experience in consumer products, FMCG, beauty, healthcare, or related industries
- Experience working in Japanese or Asian companies
- Experience leading regional transformation or organizational growth initiatives
- Exposure to multi-country ASEAN operations
