Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking aPeople Operations Partnerto own the employee lifecycle for our regional clusters. This role is the backbone of our HR delivery model, ensuring that from the moment a candidate signs an offer to the day they retire, their data and experience are handled with precision.

You will play a pivotal role in harmonizing processes across legacy ABB and newlyacquiredSoftBank teams, ensuring a One Robotics experience throughWorkday.


The work model for the role is: #Li_hybrid

This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Lead the administrative execution of all key employee lifecycle events including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding.
  • Coordinate contract generation, background checks, and Day1 readiness manage promotions, lateral moves, and data corrections in Workday.
  • Act as the Workday SME for your cluster, ensuring 100% data accuracy for payroll and reporting.
  • Partner with local brokers and providers to manage benefits enrollment, eligibility, and troubleshooting for regional programs.
  • Support Total Rewards during annual merit and bonus cycles by auditing data and preparing employee communication letters.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and audit requirements while supporting the carveout by identifying ABB legacy processes that need to be rewired for the new standalone organization.

Qualifications for the role
  • 5-8 years of experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services, ideally supporting multiple countries or a cluster model.
  • Advanced handson expertise in Workday HCM, with strong ability to navigate business process flows, troubleshoot issues, and run reports.
  • Strong understanding of the endtoend employee lifecycle and how HR data impacts payroll, benefits, compliance, and downstream systems.
  • Experience working in complex environments such as mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or carveouts.
  • Skilled in interpreting and applying regional labor laws and compliance requirements across different countries.
  • Ability to translate complex HR policies, workflows, or system logic into clear communication for employees and managers.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy, governance, and process discipline.
  • Comfortable working in fastpaced, highvolume environments with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including HRBPs, Payroll, Total Rewards, Legal, and external vendors.
  • A problemsolver with an operational black belt mindset-someone who enjoys systems, structure, and continuous improvement.
