About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Regional Business Development Head – Cloud to lead and expand our cloud business across South India.
The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing enterprise accounts, building strong partner relationships, and leading cloud solution sales across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and related cloud technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud transformation, managed services, and solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive cloud business growth across the South India region
• Identify new enterprise and mid-market opportunities for cloud solutions and services
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
• Expand customer base through direct sales, partnerships, and channel engagement
• Drive sales for:
o Microsoft Azure
o Microsoft 365
o Security & Compliance Solutions
o Managed Cloud Services
o Cloud Migration & Modern Workplace Solutions
• Understand customer business challenges and position appropriate cloud solutions
• Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams for solution architecture and proposal development
• Lead customer presentations, solution discussions, and commercial negotiations Team Management & Leadership
• Lead and mentor regional business development and sales teams
• Monitor team performance, pipeline health, and revenue achievement
• Build a high-performance sales culture focused on growth and customer success
• Coordinate with delivery, marketing, and leadership teams for business expansion initiatives Strategic Partnerships & Account Management
• Develop relationships with Microsoft and other strategic technology partners
• Manage key enterprise accounts and ensure long-term customer engagement
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling cloud services
• Maintain strong pipeline forecasting and CRM management
Mandatory Skills
• Strong experience in Cloud Sales / IT Infrastructure Sales / Managed Services
• Exposure to Microsoft Cloud ecosystem preferred
• Experience handling enterprise and mid-market customers
• Strong understanding of Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud transformation solutions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience managing regional sales targets and business growth
Preferred Skills
• Existing network within enterprise accounts across South India
• Experience working with Microsoft partners or cloud service providers
• Knowledge of cloud licensing and commercial models
• Ability to lead strategic enterprise discussions and closures
