Job Description
We are seeking a Regional BM Project Manager to join our organization in Chennai, India. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of business management projects across our regional operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, decisive leadership, and the ability to manage complex initiatives while maintaining attention to detail and driving operational efficiency.
- Plan, schedule, and execute regional business management projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and performance feedback to drive project success
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address potential challenges
- Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders through regular reporting and presentations
- Analyze project data and metrics to identify process improvement opportunities and implement optimization strategies
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout project lifecycle
- Facilitate collaboration between regional teams and corporate functions to streamline operations and enhance project delivery
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to support professional development and career growth
- Document project deliverables, lessons learned, and best practices for organizational knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in project management, with demonstrated success leading regional or multi-location initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in business management, operations, or a related field
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or Waterfall
- Strong budget management and financial acumen with experience managing project P&Ls
- Proven team leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
- Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management software tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and continuous optimization
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of regional operations management and cross-functional coordination
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
