Refrigeration Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair refrigeration systems and equipment
• Perform routine inspections and diagnose issues in refrigeration units
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of refrigeration systems
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to improve efficiency and service quality

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in refrigeration mechanics or related field
• Proficient in refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Familiarity with safety protocols in refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Certification in refrigeration technology or a related field is preferred
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
