We are seeking a highly skilled Refractory Application Specialist to join our team, focusing on petroleum boilers and incinerators in FCCU operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refractory materials and application techniques, with a proven track record of enhancing performance and reliability in industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the selection and application of refractory materials for petroleum boilers and incinerators in FCCU units.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to evaluate existing refractory installations.
- Provide technical support and solutions to enhance the performance and longevity of refractory linings.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize refractory application processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for team members on refractory handling and application techniques.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of refractory materials, providing feedback for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Ceramic, Metallurgy ,Industrial and Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5-15 years of experience in refractory application, specifically in the petroleum industry.
- Strong understanding of refractory materials and their properties, particularly in high-temperature applications.
- Familiarity with petroleum boiler and incinerator operations within FCCU.
- Experience in conducting site inspections and assessments for refractory projects.
- Proficient in project management and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams .API 936 cerified
