Job Description

Process Operation: Operating and controlling various units and equipment in the refinery, including distillation towers, reactors, pumps, compressors, and heaters
Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
Process Monitoring: Continuously monitoring process variables, such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and levels, to maintain optimal conditions and troubleshoot issues
Quality Control: Ensuring the quality of refined products by monitoring and adjusting process parameters to meet specified product specifications and industry standards
Startup and Shutdown: Safely starting up and shutting down equipment and units, following established procedures and protocols
Emergency Response: Responding to emergencies, alarms, and process upsets promptly and effectively, including taking corrective actions to mitigate risks
Sampling and Testing: Collecting samples of products at various stages of the refining process for laboratory testing and analysis
Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of process parameters, equipment status, and production volumes
