Reels & Long-Form Script Writer (Full-Time, In-Office)

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Reels & Long-Form Script Writer at StartupGyaan, based out of our office in Chhatarpur, New Delhi.

The role is focused on research-driven script writing for high-retention Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-format YouTube/Podcast content. You'll work closely with the content lead and editors, owning the journey from idea research script.

- Roles & Responsibilities

Research topics deeply to create high-quality, insight-led video scripts.

Write 3045 second scripts for Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts.

Write long-form scripts for YouTube videos and podcasts when required.

Break complex ideas into simple, engaging, audience-first narratives.

Build strong hooks, openings, and story flows that hold attention.

Take complete ownership of scripts and iterate based on feedback.

Maintain clarity, structure, and storytelling consistency across content.

- Skills Required

Excellent research & synthesis ability

Strong short-form & long-form script writing skills

Deep understanding of Reels / Shorts storytelling

Ability to write human, sharp, non-corporate content

Strong command over Hindi & English

Laptop

Ability to work full-time from office

Self-driven, curious, and detail-oriented

Minimum 1 year experience in content writing / scripting / digital content

- Qualifications (Preferred)

Experience writing for video-first content

Background in content, journalism, marketing, or media is a plus

Leadership mindset and willingness to grow beyond execution
