Job Description
Job Title: Senior Associate Database Administrator
Education: BEB.Tech or equivalent
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Mumbai
Key Skills: AWS Admin, SQL, PLSQL/TSQL
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure & Manage Redshift cluster in production and non-production environments.
- Managing the users access for Prod and Non-Prod environments.
- Creating Snapshot for backup and recovery
- Monitoring the query workload
- Managing cloud watch for alarm monitoring
- Load and unload data to S3 Bucket and database as per user requirement. (Data refresh activity)
- Create and manage Redshift Data-shares for secure data distribution across accounts and clusters
- Build and maintain external schemas using AWS Glue/Athena, including external tables
- Managing AWS MDC task (QA, STAGE& PROD)
- Participate in Production deployment.
- Working on Confluent Kafka & AWS Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK).
- Deploy, configure, and operate Confluent Kafka clusters (on-prem).
- Monitoring Kafka services on Dev,stage,& Prod environments.
- Troubleshooting the error with the help of support team.
- Upgrading the confluent Kafka & troubleshooting the error post upgrade.
- Support for Reltio as per user requirement.
- Work extensively on Linux environments for system administration, troubleshooting, and operations.
- Create and maintain Shell scripts.
- Build automated jobs using cron.
