Reddit & Social Media Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Reddit & Social Media Manager to lead community growth, engagement, and brand presence across Reddit and other social platforms.
This role is heavily focused on Reddit and requires someone who deeply understands:
- Reddit culture and etiquette
- Organic engagement strategies
- Community-driven marketing
- Viral and discussion-based growth
- Subreddit research and positioning
The ideal candidate knows how to build credibility on Reddit without appearing overly promotional and can create long-term brand presence through authentic engagement.
ResponsibilitiesReddit Community Growth
- Identify and engage with relevant subreddits across AI, technology, SaaS, startups, developer, and related communities
- Build and manage Reddit accounts with credible engagement history
- Create and publish high-quality Reddit posts designed to generate discussion and visibility
- Participate authentically in conversations while maintaining brand positioning
- Monitor subreddit rules, moderation policies, and engagement trends
- Develop strategies for organic growth and community trust
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow presence across platforms including:
- Reddit
- X/Twitter
- LinkedIn
- Discord
- Facebook
- Other relevant communities
- Schedule and publish content consistently
- Coordinate announcements, launches, product updates, and campaigns
- Respond to community discussions and user feedback
- Track engagement and growth metrics
Content & Campaign Execution
- Write platform-native posts optimized for engagement
- Repurpose technical and product content into social-friendly formats
- Collaborate with design and product teams for campaigns
- Identify trending topics and opportunities for visibility
- Assist with launch campaigns, AMAs, product announcements, and community events
Analytics & Reporting
- Track subreddit performance, engagement metrics, traffic, and conversions
- Monitor sentiment and community feedback
- Provide weekly reports with insights and recommendations
- Test and optimize posting strategies based on performance data
RequirementsMust-Have
- Strong hands-on experience managing Reddit communities and campaigns
- Deep understanding of Reddit culture, moderation dynamics, and engagement behavior
- Proven experience growing accounts or communities organically
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to write naturally for different communities and audiences
- Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools
Preferred
- Experience in AI, SaaS, developer tools, or technology products
- Familiarity with meme culture and internet-native communication styles
- Experience running viral or high-engagement Reddit campaigns
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
- Experience managing Discord or community platforms
