Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Recycling Material (Scrap Metals) Trader. The trader will be responsible for sourcing, buying, and selling materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, papers, and plastics. Day-to-day tasks include managing vendor relationships, negotiating agreements, ensuring consistent material quality, monitoring market trends, and assisting with risk management and pricing strategies. Maintaining inventory control, coordinating logistics, and fostering long-term client relationships are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills for market trend evaluation and decision-making
• Proficiency in Material Handling and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Experience in Inventory Control, Materials Management, and maintaining operational efficiency
• Knowledge of materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, papers, and plastics
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to establish and maintain partnerships
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely
• Proficiency in using trading platforms and financial tools is a plus
• Previous experience in the recycling, trading, or commodities industries is an advantage
