Role Description The Recruitment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for academic, administrative, and operational positions, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews. The Recruitment Specialist will partner with department heads to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract talent aligned with the academy's creative and technical focus. Day-to-day responsibilities include posting job openings, conducting initial interviews, maintaining candidate databases, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The role also involves supporting onboarding activities, coordinating training schedules for new hires, and contributing to employer branding initiatives and recruitment events.
Qualifications
- Strong recruiting and hiring skills, with experience managing end-to-end talent acquisition processes.
- Proficiency in conducting structured interviews and assessing candidate fit for both technical and creative roles.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Experience supporting onboarding and training activities for new team members or students.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media recruiting tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City, managing multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Experience in education, media, film, or creative industries is an advantage, along with a demonstrated commitment to inclusive and equitable hiring practices.
