Key Responsibilities
Automotive, Passenger Car BIW mechanisms design & development
Product Data Management, Variant Matrix & BOM, Change Management processes
Develop 3D models of BIW components for cars/vans using Siemens NX
Core Competencies
- BIW mechanisms design (Side Door, Sliding Door, Tailgate, Rear Split Door, Hood, Fender)
- UG NX mechanism design & kinematics
- PLM system data creation & archiving
- GD&T basics
- Innovative solutions for BIW projects
- Cross-functional team interaction
- Knowledge of BIW materials & joining methods (welding, riveting, gluing)
- Experience with Mercedes-Benz CAD methodology
- Proficient in Product Data Management & release activities
- Expert in Variant Matrix & BOM management
- Strong knowledge of Change Management processes
- Hands-on BOM management for automotive components
- PLM tools expertise (Siemens Teamcenter)
- CAD tool knowledge (NX)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Quick learner with strong grasping ability
- 3D modeling using Siemens NX for BIW (Car/Van)
- Expertise in surface design in NX
- Knowledge of deep drawn/casting parts
- Welding techniques understanding
- CATIA or other software experience not required
