THE ROLE

TA Delivery is the delivery spine of Arthan's talent acquisition business. This role exists to absorb execution complexity so that the TA Anchor (Principal) can stay externally focused on revenue, client relationships, and business growth.

This is not a recruiter role. It is not a researcher role. It is not a business development role. It is a TA delivery role- the person who owns end-to-end execution of active recruitment mandates, and ensures that every client experiences Arthan at its best.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

1. End-to-End Recruitment: You will own 6-12 active mandates at any given time, from role kickoff through search, shortlist, interviews, offer management, and candidate joining. You will write weekly delivery plans and maintain real-time pipeline visibility. There are no surprises on your watch.

2. Client Delivery Communication: You will be the primary delivery point of contact for clients. You join delivery calls, send status updates, flag delays proactively, and manage client expectations with data and professionalism. You do not handle pricing, fee negotiations, or new business development, that is the Anchor's domain. But on delivery, the client knows your name and trusts your word.

3. Execution Discipline: ATS hygiene is your responsibility. Documented client communication is your standard. Balanced workloads across your team is your design. You maintain the system that keeps delivery predictable and scalable.

4. Risk Flagging: You see problems before they become escalations. A mandate stalling at shortlist stage, a client going silent, a researcher struggling with sourcing- you catch it early, you diagnose it, and you either fix it or flag it to the Anchor with a clear recommendation. No surprise escalations ever.

SUCCESS METRICS (6-12 MONTHS)

  • 5-7 roles closed per month
  • TAT reduction of 15-20% from current baseline
  • Visible reduction in Anchor involvement in day-to-day delivery firefighting
  • Zero surprise client escalations for 2+ consecutive quarters

WHO YOU ARE

We are not looking for a specific resume. We are looking for a specific kind of person. Here is what that person looks like:

  • You think in systems, not heroics. You don't rescue mandates with last-minute sprints. You build cadences, checklists, and rhythms that prevent fires. When something breaks, you ask why did the system allow this not just how do I fix it
  • You are direct but not rigid. You tell your Anchor when a timeline is unrealistic. You tell your researcher when their sourcing isn't good enough. You do it with clarity and care, not with ego or defensiveness. You are open to changing your mind when presented with better data.
  • You are empathetic and demanding simultaneously. You understand that your researchers are human beings with growth curves and bad weeks. You also understand that clients are paying for excellence and timelines matter. You hold both truths without choosing one over the other.
  • You are a calculated risk-taker. You are ambitious about your career and your impact, but you make decisions with judgment, not impulse. You can operate in ambiguity and build structure from chaos without waiting for someone to hand you a playbook.
  • You are a fast learner who enjoys building. You may not have worked in every sector or geography. That's fine. What matters is whether you can learn a new client's world quickly, ask the right questions, and build the search methodology from scratch if needed.

EXPERIENCE WE VALUE

2-5 years in one or more of the following:

  • Mid-level recruiter or associate consultant at an executive search firm (boutique or global)
  • TA professional at a consulting firm's people practice (structured delivery, stakeholder management)
  • TA lead at a mid-size NGO, social enterprise, or impact-adjacent organization (75 to 500 staff)

What matters more than background: Have you managed multiple roles simultaneously under pressure Have you coached or mentored junior team members Can you articulate what a quality shortlist looks like, not as a concept, but specifically Have you flagged a risk early even when it was uncomfortable If yes, we want to talk to you.
