Job Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

The Recruitment & Retention (R&R) Solution Strategist is responsible for developing innovative and data-driven patient recruitment and retention strategies to support study and client needs during the pre-award phase. This role involves collaborating closely with Business Development, Proposals, Internal Account Directors, and other key stakeholders to design tailored solutions that align with study protocols, geographical considerations, and patient engagement methodologies. The R&R Solution Strategist acts as a subject matter expert, ensuring that proposed strategies are both feasible and optimized for timely enrollment while minimizing site and patient burden. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory considerations, and emerging patient engagement approaches to create competitive and effective solutions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

. Develop customized, data-driven patient recruitment and retention strategies that align with study objectives and client expectations.

. Assess study-specific factors such as target patient population, geographical reach, protocol complexity, and site feasibility to inform strategy development.

. Collaborate with Business Development, Proposals, and internal teams to support the development of competitive and differentiated RFP responses.

. Start the development of the Patient Recruitment Plan (PRP) with the identification and documentation of potential risks related to patient recruitment and retention and proposed mitigation strategies.

. Stay informed on global regulatory requirements, cultural considerations, and industry best practices to optimize strategic recommendations.

. Partner with cross-functional teams, including operational leads, feasibility teams, and data science experts, to integrate real-world insights into patient recruitment planning.

. Engage with clients during pre-award discussions and bid defense meetings to present proposed recruitment and retention strategies.

. Represent the R&R function in strategic conversations with sponsors, ensuring that proposed solutions are aligned with client goals and industry best practices.

. Leverage real-world data, historical enrollment performance, and predictive analytics to refine patient recruitment strategies.

. Continuously monitor industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in patient recruitment to inform future strategies.

. Contribute to the development of best practices, case studies, and lessons learned to enhance R&R solutioning processes.

. Track and analyze proposal outcomes, client feedback, and recruitment performance data to improve future strategic recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements

. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in biological sciences, healthcare, marketing, or a related field.

Experience & Skills

. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in patient recruitment and retention strategy development, clinical trial feasibility, or related areas.

. Strong understanding of global patient recruitment methodologies, decentralized trial approaches, and healthcare industry trends.

. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate strategies effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.

. Ability to synthesize complex data sets and market insights into actionable recruitment strategies.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant tracking tools.

. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
