Job Title: Team Lead (US Staffing Engineering Delivery)
Location: Noida
Work Model: Onsite
Role Overview
We are looking to hire a high-caliber Team Lead to lead delivery operations for engineering clients in the U.S. market. This is a pure delivery leadership role and is best suited for someone who brings strong execution capability, team management maturity, and a deep understanding of engineering hiring across the U.S. staffing landscape.
This position requires a leader who can drive performance on the floor, build delivery discipline, improve recruiter effectiveness, and ensure strong closure momentum across active requirements. The role calls for hands-on ownership, not just oversight. The selected individual will be expected to lead a team of recruiters, manage delivery priorities with precision, and maintain a high standard of submission quality, speed, and accountability.
Key Purpose of the Role
The core objective of this role is to strengthen engineering delivery capability by leading a team focused entirely on fulfilment for U.S. engineering clients. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality submissions, improving interview-to-hire ratios, optimizing recruiter output, and building a delivery engine that is structured, responsive, and consistently reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a delivery team of 4 to 5 recruiters aligned to U.S. engineering requirements.
- Own end-to-end delivery performance across assigned accounts and open roles, with clear focus on submissions, interviews, closures, turnaround time, and pipeline quality.
- Drive delivery strategy for engineering mandates across segments such as manufacturing, industrial engineering, aerospace, automotive, mechanical, electrical, controls and automation, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and related technical domains.
- Partner closely with internal sales and account teams to understand client priorities, role urgency, and delivery expectations.
- Coach recruiters on sourcing strategy, market mapping, screening quality, candidate positioning, rate validation, and submission effectiveness.
- Ensure proper allocation of requirements within the team based on bandwidth, capability, and priority.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and maintain strict control over recruiter productivity, aging positions, interview ratios, and fill performance.
- Actively support the team on niche, urgent, and high-impact roles where stronger market insight or delivery intervention is needed.
- Maintain high process discipline across ATS updates, reporting hygiene, candidate status tracking, and internal communication.
- Conduct regular team reviews, performance discussions, and operational check-ins to ensure visibility, ownership, and course correction.
- Build a delivery culture defined by urgency, quality, consistency, and execution excellence.
- Serve as the first level of escalation for delivery challenges and work proactively to resolve bottlenecks that impact closure.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in U.S. staffing delivery, with specific exposure to engineering or technical hiring. This individual should be capable of balancing team leadership with hands-on delivery ownership and should bring the judgment required to manage both recruiter performance and requirement strategy.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in U.S. Staffing.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in team handling, with direct management of a team of 4 to 5 recruiters.
- Demonstrated experience in delivery for engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or other technical clients in the U.S. market.
- Strong understanding of engineering roles, technical terminologies, talent pools, and delivery challenges within the U.S. recruitment ecosystem.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong command over delivery operations within U.S. staffing.
- Ability to lead recruiters with structure, pace, and performance focus.
- Hands-on expertise in sourcing through job portals, Boolean search, LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals, and alternate talent channels.
- Strong screening and candidate assessment capability for engineering profiles.
- Clear understanding of delivery metrics and the ability to use data to drive team performance.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in coordinating across internal stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset, operational discipline, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-oriented, and highly accountable environment.
Preferred Background:
- Experience supporting engineering clients across contract, contract-to-hire, or direct hire models.
- Exposure to industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, industrial, energy, utilities, heavy engineering, or related sectors will be highly preferred.
- Experience in handling niche or difficult-to-fill technical roles will be an advantage.
What Success Looks Like in This Role: A successful Team Lead in this role will create delivery stability, improve recruiter effectiveness, strengthen submission quality, and consistently drive closures across engineering requirements. This person will not only manage a team but will elevate delivery standards and build a sharper execution culture within the function.
Why This Role Matters: This is a high-impact delivery leadership opportunity for someone who wants to play a meaningful role in building a strong engineering staffing engine for the U.S. market. The role offers visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to directly influence delivery performance and business outcomes.
