About The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Resume Formatter / Resume Specialist to join our US staffing team at Mastech Digital. In this role, you will be responsible for formatting and preparing candidate resumes in accordance with client and vendor specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of US IT staffing processes, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in document formatting. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all resumes are professional, well-structured, and optimized for applicant tracking systems (ATS), thereby enhancing our candidates chances of success in the placement process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in resume formatting or editing, preferably within the IT staffing or recruitment industry.
- Understanding of US IT staffing and recruitment processes, including familiarity with client and vendor requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for consistency and accuracy.
- Excellent written English and grammar skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and document formatting tools.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple resumes simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Format and edit candidate resumes according to specific client and vendor templates, ensuring adherence to branding guidelines.
- Review resumes to ensure they are well-structured, professional, and free of grammatical or typographical errors.
- Highlight candidate skills, experience, and technical expertise effectively to improve visibility and appeal.
- Collaborate closely with US recruiters to prepare compelling marketing resumes for client submissions.
- Maintain consistency in formatting, style, and branding across all resumes to uphold company standards.
- Review resumes for ATS compatibility, ensuring keywords and formats align with industry best practices.
- Update and maintain a repository of resume templates and formatting guidelines.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for resume improvements to enhance candidate presentation.
