Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Recreation Supervisor role based in Chennai. The Recreation Supervisor oversees daily recreational operations, including scheduling and coordinating activities for guests of all ages, ensuring programs are engaging, safe, and aligned with the property's luxury standards. Responsibilities include supervising recreation staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training and coaching to maintain consistent service quality. The role involves interacting with guests, understanding their preferences, addressing feedback or concerns, and tailoring experiences to enhance satisfaction. The Recreation Supervisor also helps develop new activity concepts, maintains equipment and facilities in good condition, ensures adherence to safety and resort policies, and collaborates with other departments (such as Front Office and F&B) to support special events and guest programs.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills and prior experience leading or coordinating teams in recreation, hospitality, or resort environments.
• Solid recreation and activity-planning experience, including organizing group activities, events, and wellness or leisure programs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage diverse guests and manage inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Experience in training and coaching staff, including onboarding, skill-building, and reinforcing service and safety standards.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required by operations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality of guest experiences.
• Previous experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or leisure clubs is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
