What would you do As an R2R Operations Specialist within the GAAP team, you will play a critical role in managing and executing accounting operations aligned with US GAAP standards. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and solve moderately complex accounting and operational issues.
- Develop new solutions by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures.
- Align work with strategic goals set by senior management.
- Interact primarily with direct supervisors, with occasional engagement with clients and internal leadership.
- Apply judgment in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Make decisions that impact team performance and deliverables.
- Lead small teams or manage individual workstreams within client engagements or internal ops Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.
- Experience in working with global teams and managing time-zone aligned deliverables. Preferred Qualification: B. Com, MBA (Finance), and Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and insights.
