About Position
We are seeking an experienced Reconciliation Business Analyst (BA) to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in banking reconciliations, hands-on experience with reconciliation platforms (such as Duco, SmartStream TLM, or Intellimatch), and a proven track record of successfully delivering migration initiatives within investment banking or financial services environments. As a Reconciliation BA, you will play a critical role in migrating cash reconciliations from legacy platforms to a strategic reconciliation solution. You will work closely with Operations, IT, Finance, vendors, and program stakeholders to ensure accurate configuration, seamless migration execution, robust testing, and production-ready documentation. This role demands strong analytical capability, detailed understanding of reconciliation logic, and the ability to translate complex legacy processes into scalable, future-ready solutions.

What You'll Do
- The Reconciliation Migration Specialist will be responsible for migrating banking cash reconciliations from a legacy platform to the strategic reconciliation solution.
- The role will cover reconciliation development/configuration, migration execution, test support, defect resolution, and production grade technical documentation, working closely with Operations, IT, vendors, and programmed stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering reconciliation migrations within an investment banking or financial services environment.
- Handson delivery experience with reconciliation platforms such as Intellimatch, SmartStream TLM, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable background migrating banking cash reconciliations from legacy or decommissioned platforms.
- Experience across the full delivery lifecycle: migration design, build, testing support, defect resolution, and handover to BAU/support teams.
- Strong exposure to back-office operations, including cash movement, nostro accounts, and settlement processes.
- Experience working in IT change or delivery teams in partnership with Operations and Finance stakeholders.

- Proven ability to investigate and resolve reconciliation defects, including data, logic, and configuration issues.
- Ability to produce high quality technical documentation, including:
- Migration approach and assumptions
- Reconciliation design and rules
- Data mappings
- Testing evidence and defect logs
- Comfortable working with SQL, file-based feeds, and structured data formats (e.g., CSV, XML).
