Role Overview
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients visiting our eye hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth patient experience by managing appointments, registrations, inquiries, and coordinating with clinical teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Reception
- Assist patients with registration and check-in procedures.
- Guide patients through consultation, diagnostic, and surgery workflows.
- Address patient queries and direct them to the appropriate department.
Appointment Management
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
- Coordinate doctor schedules and patient flow.
- Manage follow-up appointments and reminders.
Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Provide accurate information regarding hospital services, timings, and procedures.
- Handle patient concerns courteously and escalate issues when required.
Billing & Documentation
- Collect consultation and procedure payments.
- Generate receipts and maintain transaction records.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information entered into the hospital management system.
Must-Have Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Kannada and English
- Pleasant personality and professional demeanor
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry)
- Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment
- Good organizational and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline
- 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, hospital receptionist, customer service executive, or front desk associate
- Experience in a hospital, clinic, diagnostic center, or healthcare setting is preferred
