Executive – Rebate Data Analyst (Financial Data)

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days Work from Office / 2 days Work from Home

Shift: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Afternoon Shift)

Experience: 2–4 years

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Executive – Rebate Data Analyst (Financial Data) to join our Finance team. The role will be responsible for analyzing rebate and financial data, validating customer claims, supporting Gross-to-Net (GTN) activities, preparing journal entry uploads, and assisting with tax computations and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong financial analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain & analyses management reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Review customer rebate and other claims and prepare supporting analysis to validate the claims.
  • Compare customer-provided information with data available in the company's ERP system and identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare upload files for processing Journal Vouchers (JVs) in NetSuite.
  • Prepare and review worksheets for True-Up calculations relating to various components of Gross-to-Net (GTN).
  • Process and analyze claims in accordance with applicable agreements and company policies.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations and investigate variances between customer claims, ERP data, and financial records.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and supporting schedules for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain required information and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all assigned activities are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required by management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, rebate management, accounting, revenue management, or a related function.
  • Strong understanding of the generic pharmaceutical industry, including product flow, reimbursement, chargeback administration, and chargeback payment processes.
  • Understanding of Gross-to-Net (GTN) concepts and rebate/allowance calculations is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including strong knowledge of formulas, PivotTables, lookups, data analysis, and Macros/VBA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within and outside the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working with NetSuite ERP.
  • Experience with iContract or similar contract/rebate management systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, including dashboard preparation and data visualization.
  • Experience with EDI and electronic chargeback processes.
  • Exposure to U.S. pharmaceutical revenue management and reimbursement processes.
  • Knowledge of U.S. tax processes and IRS requirements.
