Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rebar-Tekla Designer, located in Madurai. The primary responsibilities include creating and managing 3D Tekla models, producing reinforcement bar (rebar) detailing and shop drawings, and collaborating closely with engineers to ensure technical accuracy. The designer will also review project specifications, address design challenges, and coordinate with various teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in working with Tekla Structures software for rebar detailing and design.
• Strong understanding of construction codes, structural detailing, and engineering principles related to rebar design.
• Experience in drafting and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proficiency in design visualization tools.
• Ability to collaborate in a team setting and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in rebar detailing and Tekla modeling is highly advantageous.
