About the Role
We are looking for a Real-Time Systems Engineer – Robotics (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on robotics control systems, real-time computing, embedded intelligence, and autonomous technologies.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to RTOS, robotics middleware, low-latency systems, sensor integration, control loops, embedded communication, and autonomous decision-making, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world real-time robotics engineering challenges.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the technical accuracy, timing reliability, and system efficiency of AI-generated robotics solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for robotics automation, embedded intelligence, and mission-critical autonomous applications.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including real-time robotics workflows, control architectures, and embedded system optimization strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to real-time systems and robotics engineering
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world real-time robotics and embedded systems challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI outputs for timing accuracy, low-latency performance, scalability, hardware compatibility, and operational reliability
- Identify bugs, synchronization issues, inefficient implementations, or real-time processing bottlenecks in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on real-time robotics, embedded intelligence, and autonomous systems
Requirements
- Background in Robotics, Embedded Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of real-time systems, robotics control systems, embedded architectures, and low-level programming concepts
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or embedded software development workflows
- Familiarity with RTOS, embedded Linux, ROS/ROS2, multithreading, concurrency, and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, or Ethernet
- Experience with robotics control loops, sensor integration, firmware optimization, or autonomous systems is preferred
- Ability to critically evaluate real-time architectures, embedded workflows, and engineering solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
