About the role
We are seeking a talented React Developer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React.js. You will work closely with the back-end team to ensure seamless integration of REST APIs into the front-end, ensuring the best possible user experience.
What you will do at Ailaysa:
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Integrate front-end components with REST APIs to fetch and display dynamic data
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to enhance the functionality of web applications
- Identify and resolve bugs, ensuring consistent code quality and performance optimization
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in React and front-end technologies
What is required from you:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Hands-on experience with REST API integration, ensuring efficient data fetching, error handling, and display of dynamic content
- Knowledge of modern ES6+ JavaScript features and syntax
- Understanding of HTTP methods and best practices for API consumption
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
Good to have skills:
- Familiarity with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Knowledge of Node js and server side scripting.
- Implementation and maintenance of microfrontend architecture
- Familiarity with Headless CMS like Strapi CMS.
- Knowledge in Generative AI / NLP is an added advantage
