About the role
We are looking for a mobile developer with strong React Native experience to build and ship applications for iOS and Android. The role covers the full mobile app lifecycle, including development, integration with consumer electronics and third-party platforms, release, and post-launch maintenance.
What you'll do
- Build, test, and ship cross-platform mobile apps with React Native for iOS and Android
- Own the mobile app lifecycle, from architecture through App Store / Play Store release and ongoing iteration
- Develop integrations between mobile apps and consumer electronics / connected devices (Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, SDKs)
- Consume and work with APIs to connect the app to backend services and hardware platforms
- Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency across devices
- Develop native modules and bridge to native iOS/Android code when required
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver quality user experiences
- Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation
What we're looking for
- Proven experience building and shipping production mobile apps with React Native
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and the React Native ecosystem
- Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play
- Familiarity with native modules and integrating native code (Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java)
- Experience integrating mobile apps with consumer electronics, BLE, or IoT devices is a plus
- Understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and offline handling
- Comfortable with version control (Git) and CI/CD for mobile
Nice to have
- Experience with device SDKs from consumer electronics vendors
- Familiarity with Expo, Fastlane, or mobile CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with app performance profiling and debugging on real devices
