We're looking for a full stack developer who can own both the mobile client and the backend API — no handoffs, no silos. You'll build features end-to-end: from screens users tap to the services that power them.
Tech stack You Must Know For This Position:
React Native, Express.js, Node.js, REST APIs, PostgreSQL / MongoDB, Redux / Zustand, JWT / Auth, Git, API Integrations, Problem Solving Skill.
What you'll do
- Build and ship mobile features across iOS and Android using React Native
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Express and Node.js
- Own database schema design and query optimization
- Integrate third-party services — payments, notifications, analytics
- Write clean, reviewed, documented code — not just code that ships
- Debug across the stack: UI, network, server, data
- Collaborate directly with product and design — no layers of management in between
What we expect
- 1 - 4 years of hands-on React Native experience — not just exposure
- Solid understanding of Express.js and building production backends
- Comfortable with async JavaScript, REST conventions, and API security basics
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Knows how to handle app store deployment (Expo or bare workflow)
- Clear communicator — remote or in-person
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript on both ends
- Familiarity with Deployments, Mobile App Publishing on App Store, Play Store.
- Prior work on apps with real users — links welcome
- Contributions to open source or side projects you're proud of
